Inks of Truth presents "Going Overseas/Native Immigrant" at Bindlestiff Studio on June 9th, 2012 from 5-10pm. "Going Overseas" is an International photo narrative from a street photography perspective. It will showcase photographs made in England, Burma, Cambodia, Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. The event will also host a listening party for Patience's the Virtuous sophomore album, "Native Immigrant".

"Going Overseas" is a visual for those curious of the outside world. As technology advances, the ability to travel and move around the planet increases for many. Travelers can cross the seven seas in a days time. For some, this provides the opportunity to travel and for others, traveling can provide opportunity. In both instances, people find themselves in new lands having experiences they once only dreamed of.

"Native Immigrant" is a culturally focused album in the works by Patience the Virtuous. Having a dual upbringing as an Inner City San Franciscan & as a 1st Generation Fil-Am, Patience tackles cultural nuances with a daring conscious approach.
